Critical Mysteliate
Slightly increases the chance of critical hits
Here's a few of mine, I might make models of them.
Midas Mysteliate
Gives 100 points to the player by shooting a yellow beam at them, but with a slow recharge. Gives a useful point income at the cost of a mysteliate slot.
Midas Mysteliate (Alternate)
Shoots a low damaging beam at enemies that gives the player 100 points when it hits. Has a slow recharge as well.
Sniper Mysteliate
A Mysteliate that shoots a small spherical projectile that does decent or high damage at enemies, and has unlimited range but slow recharge.
Well, until all BFS chapters are complete, I'll be working on the story script. I also wonder what the Caern place is about :^) I have an idea of who might be fought there :^^^^^^^^^))
I'd like to make it my own fangame some point in the future, also came up with another idea for a boss... There would be a computer called DAIROS, standing for Deceased Artificial Intelligence Recovery Operating System, name based off of GLaDOS'. The last words from the computer when you defeat it are "Attempting to reboot bass_dev_30.exe. Missing executable bass_dev_30.exe."
Thanks for replying! I didn't really mean the Darkin. What I mean by a spiritual successor is that I think of a mostly separate game with not much connection to the current BFS.
Not sure if I should post here or Off-Topic but I have an idea I'd like to share for a spiritual successor to BFS. It would take place a few centuries or a few milllenniums after the events of BFS, but still having 4 classes. The classes have changes like much more advanced or different weapons, different names, etc., Piercer for example could be Blaster and use "laser" guns, Crusher could become Smasher, and Slicer = Slasher. Not sure about Baller... Spherer? Orber? Anyways the Mysteliates have been resting in temples/labyrinths and have been retired of their "duties" somewhere in between the two games. Maybe the antagonists try to capture them and use them, the antagonist group sent people to do this to a Mysteliate and it ended up going "corrupted" and killed them, shortly after the players reach that place and the Mysteliate acts as a boss. The antagonist faction creates Mysteliate like things they call Cyboliates and the bosses of that faction get to use them. Since Arcane Warlock and Dezadon are ancient spirits, they're still around at the time. Those are the ideas I have right now, and no, I'm not requesting a sequel... once again I'm just sharing ideas for one.
