Synopsis

"You" returns to the castle to find that the Orinthian Empire has contacted the King for help, with distortion rifts opening up around Orinthia by the Rift Monarch. "You" sets out to take down the rift leaders across three levels, the first being the Lord of The Board.

Gameplay

Upon starting DAL1, all players' weapons, mysteliates and points will be reset.

A major mechanic of the Draco Arcade non-canon series is Force Power, a system that influences the damage players deal to the arcade apparitions. Force Power cannot be obtained from the Draco Arcade directly, but rather losing or beating levels of it, or from the rest of the game. Having lower force power than the enemy - which can be seen as a number on a star icon underneath a player or enemies' health bar - represents the force value of that enemy. Having less force than the enemy means players will do reduced damage, but having more force means players will deal extra damage!

Enemies are spawned via Rifts and pipes in this event.

Stage 1

Rift 1-1 is spawned, which has 22,000 health and a force value of 10. It spawns Glitchsters.

Stage 1B

Rift 1-1B is spawned, which has 40,000 health and a force value of 25. It spawns Glitch Warriors.

Stage 2

Rift 1-2 is spawned, which has 120,000 health and a force value of 40. It spawns Glitch Ravagers.

Stage 2B

Rift 1-2C is spawned, which has 150,000 health and a force value of 50. It spawns Glitch Troopers.

Stage 2C

Rift 1-2C is spawned, which has 250,000 health and a force value of 60. It spawns all previous glitch enemies.

Stages 4-7

Four pipes in the corners of the arena will summon enemies every few seconds, the health of each pipe being dependent on the stage.

• Stage 4 pipes have 62,500 health and spawn Glitched Rockys.
• Stage 5 pipes have 70,000 health and spawn Glitched Waters.
• Stage 6 pipes have 75,000 health and spawn Glitch Tanks.
• Stage 7 pipes have 80,000 health and spawn every enemy type.

-You: "Always nice being back."

-You: "What did you call me for?"

-King: "The Orinthian Empire needs our help!"

-King: "A distortion rift has opened up by a Game Master -- The Rift Monarch!"

-You: "Rift Monarch?"

-King: "Yes. He is the final foe of the rifts."

-King: "You must enter this distortion, filled with arcade apparitions of our world!"

-King: "There are three levels to his game. With the Rift Monarch being behind the final one."

-King: "I'll link you up to the rift using my powers now."

-King: "But first, it's dangerous to go alone. Take this with you."

-You: "Finally! What are you giving me?"

-King: "Moral support."

-King: "Good luck!"

"You" is launched out of a portal and glitches around for a moment.

-You: "That was disorienting..."

-You: "Woah, look at this place!"

-King: "Looks like the nexus of the Draco Arcade."

-King: "Each arcade game must have a rift boss behind it."

-You: "Seems the left is active, I'll start there!"

"You" enters the first portal and is transported to a new area.

-King: "You're in!"

-???: "A new challenger approaches!"

-You: "Oh, who are you?"

-Lord of The Board: "The Lord of The Board. You must be here to challenge my score!"

-Lord of The Board: "And you must be..."

-Lord of The Board: "Huh."

-Lord of The Board: "Thought a username like that would be taken."

-Lord of The Board: "You must be a veteran. Be optimal here for the Glitchsters."

"You" destroys Rift 1-1 and the Glitchsters it spawns.

-Server: "STAGE 1 CLEAR!"

-Server: "300 POINTS AWARDED!"

-Server: "150 EXP AWARDED!"

-Lord of The Board: "Alright, now for the warriors."

"You" destroys Rift 1-1B and the Glitch Warriors it spawns.

-Server: "STAGE 1B CLEAR!"

-Server: "700 POINTS AWARDED!"

-Server: "350 EXP AWARDED!"

-You: "Oh! I think I get this game now!"

-Lord of The Board: "Hm."

-Lord of The Board: "Sure."

-Lord of The Board: "There were some extra time saves you missed but carry on."

-Lord of The Board: "Get past the casual obbying."

"You" completes the quick obby and reaches the next room.

-King: "I sense a prescence lurking in this area."

-You: "Alright!"

-Lord of The Board: "Don't lose time here like before."

-Lord of The Board: "Here come the ravagers."

"You" destroys Rift 1-2 and the Glitch Ravagers it spawns.

-Server: "STAGE 2 CLEAR!"

-Server: "2500 POINTS AWARDED!"

-Server: "1250 EXP AWARDED!"

-Lord of The Board: "Troopers up next."

"You" destroys Rift 1-2B and the Glitch Troopers it spawns.

-Lord of The Board: "Mob rush inbound."

"You" destroys Rift 1-2C and the glitch enemies it spawns.

-You: "Whew! Never had someone make me a game before!"

-Lord of The Board: "Hm."

-Lord of The Board: "Sure."

-Lord of The Board: "The boss is challenging you."

-You: "Haha!"

-You: "Well, probably could have done that faster!"

-Lord of The Board: "Exactly what I thought, you didn't even-"

-You: "Oh well was all part of the game, guess I'll take it at my own pace."

-Lord of The Board: "Lets... Move on."

You reaches the next area, which has a pinball challenge.

-Lord of The Board: "Alright bonus game area."

-Lord of The Board: "A simple game of pinball."

-You: "What's pinball?"

-Lord of The Board: "Are you joking?"

-You: "Nope!"

-Lord of The Board: "Have you never been to Orinthia?"

-You: "Ah! Well not until now really."

-Lord of The Board: "This right here is what happens to people who haven't evolved past a mobile phone."

-Lord of The Board: "Pinball, hit the ball to the end. Go."

-You: "What's a mobile phone?"

"You" completes the pinball section.

-You: "Wow that was all over the place."

-You: "Pinball's pretty interesting!"

-Lord of The Board: "Hm."

-Lord of The Board: "Sure."

-Lord of The Board: "Aren't you concerned about your run? It was [x] seconds."

-You: "Nah I don't care about that!"

-You: "This pinball thing is super fun, you should be pleased with this!"

-Lord of The Board: "ok"

"You" reaches the next area, which has a castle surrounded by various obbies, each leading to a question mark block atop a spire.

-You: "Woah this looks interesting!"

-Lord of The Board: "hit the question blocks to continue."

-You: "But what are quest-"

-Lord of The Board: "make it snappy."

"You" hits one of the question mark blocks and destroys the pipes and the Glitched Rockys they spawn.

-Server: "STAGE 4 CLEAR!"

-Server: "10000 POINTS AWARDED!"

-Server: "5000 EXP AWARDED!"

You reaches the top of the Donkey Kong section and jumps into the pipe.

-Server: "BONUS STAGE 8 CLEAR!"

-King: "Seems he's up ahead."

"You" reaches Lord of The Board's arena.

-You: "Well the barrels were interesting!"

-Lord of The Board: "interesting..."

-You: "Okay what ruined your mood, you've been cold ever since I had fun with pinball!"

-Lord of The Board: "you..."

-Lord of The Board: "it is almost like you value your enjoyment over ANYTHING else here."

-You: "Well, I mean I'm the only player here and..."

-You: "It's just a game?"

-Lord of The Board: "'its just a game'"

-Lord of The Board: "The phrase 'its just a game' is such a WEAK mindset!"

-Lord of The Board: "When you stop getting angry after losing, you've lost twice!"
