History of Boss Fighting Stages Rebirth
On November 30th, 2013, SuperCloud9 made Boss Fighting Stages as the Boss Fighting game he dreamed of making on Roblox, as well as a spiritual successor to his game, Draco Rock Defense. Boss Fighting Stages at first seemed very similar to Draco Rock Defense, with the player fighting off waves of enemies whilst staying in a single room. As new chapters were added, SuperCloud9 developed BFS's style of moving through a vast world, completing objectives, and of course, killing bosses.
Sporting up to 6 chapters at the end of its last pre-rebirth update, SuperCloud9 intended to completely overhaul the aging gameplay of BFS in an update titled "BFS Rebirth". The update would completely change the gamescript, GUI, and gameplay mechanics of BFS. Due to the size of the update as well as SuperCloud9 working on developing other games, BFS Rebirth was stuck in development for around two years.
On April 6th, 2016, BFSR was finally ready for public access. However, due to Roblox's upcoming removal of tix, SuperCloud9 decided to make BFSR temporarily paid access for 143R$, until he could implement gamepasses to pay for the audio costs of production.
BFSR was released to the public on April 16th, 2016. It frontpaged with over 2000 visits that very same day.
BFSR hit 1 million visits on April 23rd, 2016.
